Sharp, who was born in Rochester, New York in 1962, was a clarinet player along with cellos, pianos, and clarinets at the Hochstein School of Music. Her enthusiasm for school theatre led her to apply to The Boston Conservatory, where she received a scholarship. Cum Laude graduated with a B.F.A. Sharp started her professional career on stage after graduating at the Conservatory. Sharp was a part of The Broadway National Tour of Carousel as well as debuted Off Broadway with Michael Bradford's Living in the Wind. In the improv comedy Eat the Runt, she was a variety of characters. Sharp is also a part of Abyssinia and Aida in addition to Thunder Knockin Jitney along with The Producers. She was even a reader of August Wilson's Come and Gone. Apart from her roles both on stage and the screen, Sharp has several other creative projects that she's written or co-written. She continues to sing, and she has an album of her own currently in the process of being recorded. Sharp enjoys exercising. She stays fit by doing boxing, studying Krav Maga, and taking long road trips. Sharp has a home in Los Angeles.
