Born on the 18th of October 1984, American alpine skier Lindsey Vonn who is now retired, won the title of four World Cup competitions and the downhill gold medal at the 2010 Winter Olympics. Her rank is second to none among female skiers and men in terms of the highest scores. She is the most famous and adored skiers. Caroline Vonn, also known by the name Lindsey Vonn, is an American World Cup alpine racer that is part of the US Ski Team. Four times she has been awarded the title of winner in the World Cup overall competition. The athlete that has earned her name within American culture. She is only one of six women to have won at every single event on the World Cup circuit. In total, she's won more than 82 World Cup titles. The best skier around the globe and the most popular American ski racers have decided to retire following the World Championship which will take place in Sweden. After suffering from a series of illness, the three-time World Cup champion has decided to retire. Her announcement of retirement was made on social media. My final race of my racing career will take place in Re Sweden next week, during the Downhill World Championships as well as the SG World Championships.
