Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw (Elizabeth Alice MacGraw) is a American animal rights advocate, writer, model and actor. She is renowned for her movies such as Love Story (1970) Goodbye Columbus (1969) and The Getaway (1972). The daughter of an artistic family located in New York she wished to pursue a career in the field of arts. At first she was employed as an assistant in photography. In the future her work changed into directing and modeling. The actress was awarded the Golden Globe Award in 1990 as a promising young actress. Her film MacGraw's Love Story from 1970 was an enormous success that earned her fame worldwide, as well as an Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe Award. After only three movies, MacGraw was declared one of the most successful women in box office history. The Grauman's Chinese Theater engraved her autograph, hand-prints and foot prints in the year 1972. Additionally, to The Getaway Convoy Players she also starred in the television show The Winds of War. In 1991, her autobiography Moving Pictures came out. MacGraw was divorced three times.
